The show follows Dr. Michelle Oakley—a fearless vet and mom of three daughters—on her adventures to the most remote corners of Alaska, where she treats everything from small pets, farm animals to exotic wildlife.

The wildest stretch of the season had us traveling to remote Alaskan islands by boat, hopping to a new location every other day.
Some of the boat transfers took over 7 hours, giving me time to soak in Alaska’s incredible sea life—like orcas playing in the wake and whale families gliding by.
Lunch breaks tend to look very existential in Alaska
