UNHARANESSED
Documenting the connection between human and horse, "Unharnessed" explores a unique rehabilitation program for youth who are survivors of sex trafficking. The documentary focuses on Zoe, a 15 year-old girl with a traumatic past, as she learns to navigate and overcome challenges through equine-assisted therapy with an ultimate goal of finding mental balance and living a gratifying life.
The film premiered at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, won the BEA’s “Award of Excellence” in Las Vegas. It was later added in the Planet Classroom Network’s collection of educational films.
